Brief History of Dr. Muhammad Sani Umar Rijiyar Lemo

His full name is Muhammad Sani bn Umar bn Musa Rijiyar Lemo. He was born on 1st July ,1970 in Makkah, Saudi Arabia .He grew up in Yan Mata in the ancient city of Kano,Nigeria.
He had his primary school education in Khairul Bariyya Islamic Primary School Kano
(1978-1983) .He had his Junior Secondary School education in  Shahuci junior secondary school Kano (1987), he then proceeded to Government Arabic
Teachers College, Gwale where he completed his Senior Islamic Studies with distinction in the year 1989.
Dr Muhammad Sani secured admission in the department of Hadith in the Islamic University,Madina where he completed his  B.A. in Hadith Science and Islamic
Studies,1994  he proceeded for his M.A.in
Hadith Science and Islamic Studies, 2000 where he finished with 'Excellent' grade
Due to his thirst for deeper knowledge and research,Sheikh Muhammad continued with his Ph.D
In the Islamic University, Madina where by Allah's grace he completed in the year 2005 with a first class
upper

Dr Muhammad was tutored by many Scholars both in Nigeria and in  Saudi Arabia, they include , Malam Hamza Adakawa (Akhdari,Arbauna hadisan, Ishriniya, Hamziyya etc ), Mal. Sani Inuwa (Nahwu and Sarfu), Mal.Mahbub Abdulkadir Sumaly (Balaga), Mal. Bashir Hasan (Adab), Mal.Aminu Mahe (Tarikh).

Among his teachers in Saudi Arabia are Sheikh Abdulmuhsin Al-Abbad (Tauhid), Sheikh Ali Abdurrahman Alhuzaifi Chief Imam of Masjid an Nabawi, Madina (Tauhid), Sheikh Abdulaziz Abdullatif (Jarh Wattaadil), Sheikh Muhammad Matar (Tadwin and Ruwat),Sheikh Dr. Hafiz Alhakami (MusdalahulHadith ), Sheikh Dr.Muhammad Nur Saif(Musdalahul hadis), Sheikh Dr.AbdussamadAbid (Musdalahul Hadith ), Sheikh Dr. UmarHawiyya (Tafsir) da Sheikh Dr. Faihan

Almudairi (Fiqh).
Dr Sani has attended several seminars both in Nigeria and elsewhere including  Saudi Arabia, Sudan,

He was a lecturer in the Islamic University, Katsina ,He is the Director of Imamul Bukhari Research  Institute Rijiyar Zaki, Kano. He is also the Chairman of Sheikh Ja’afar Islamic Documentation
Center (SJIDC) in Kano. He is also the chief Imam in  Dorayi Friday Mosque
Dr Sani is engaged in teaching (Qur'an and Hadith among others) in Kano,Katsina,Bauchi,Maiduguri and other states in Nigeria . He is also involved in educative programs on radio and TV in Nigeria . Dr Muhammad Sani now lives in  Kano,Nigeria with his Family where he is involved in tutoring and calling others to Islam .
